JOB SUMMARY: Works closely with the Manager, Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs (MCPA) to develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy for Efficiency Smart and its programs. Manages marketing projects from start to finish, serving as a key point of contact for internal staff and external vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Collaborates with the Efficiency Smart MCPA team, other VEIC staff and external partners to manage the development of marketing materials and campaigns for Efficiency Smart. • Effectively integrates the brand identity of the organization into targeted marketing strategies and ensures that a consistent brand is supported throughout all outreach materials, advertising, events, and websites in order to promote Efficiency Smart and its services. • Supports the organization-wide strategic planning effort by developing and maintaining project-specific marketing goals, plans and budgets. Works with the Manager, MCPA to integrate these into the overall MCPA plan and budget for the organization. • Leads the development of marketing strategy for assigned projects and manages the tactical development and evaluation of these. Responsible for managing projects of moderate scope and complexity and their corresponding budgets. • Manages internal teams and subcontractors’ project work for activities such as campaign development, media planning and purchasing, and design and production of marketing materials. • Evaluates marketing projects and processes in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness for delivering marketing services. • Understands marketing best practices and marketing and industry trends. Applies this knowledge to effectively meet the marketing needs of the organization. • Provides project support to other MCPA team members and department functions when needed as well as the activities of Efficiency Smart as necessary to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
