He's been involved in the American Advertising Federation since college and has served at the local, district and national levels in the organization as a professional. About the Speaker Hoepfner joined the Blue Jackets after spending eight years at FSN Florida, where he most recently served as vice president of advertising sales. He oversaw sales for the cable sports affiliate and its relationships with the Florida Panthers, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays and the University of Miami, as well as FSN programming that included among others NASCAR and The Best Damn Sports Show Period. He joined the organization in 1997 as vice president of marketing and affiliate sales for then-SportsChannel Florida.
Prior to his stint with FSN Florida, Hoepfner was the director of consumer marketing in the southeast region for Continental Cablevision and the director of marketing for Hauser Communications in Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. Chris Melissinos is Verisign’s Vice President of Corporate Marketing whose expertise will take a deeper look at the Metaverse and how our 'always on' connections are changing the rules of the game in internet security.
His responsibilities at Verisign include the development of global campaigns, brand management, company messaging, press relations, and digital presence for Verisign, the trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services for the networked world.

Of direct interest to the American marketplace: such issues as marketing and advertising ethics; a possible improvement in consumer cynicism and distrust; greater leadership prominence of females and minorities; bold new undertakings by government and business; special focus on the aging of America; massive numbers of Boomers working long past traditional retirement and impacting the younger generations' careers; and much more. And then will come GenX. And then the Millennials. How will THEIR generations do at leadership? One looks good, one looks bad. I'll explain.”
