| Columbus AMA Presents: Mobile Marketing SIG Five years ago, perhaps no one looked at your website using a mobile phone, and only one or two tried to look up directions to your store on their smartphone. Today, the majority of your customers are looking for you using a mobile device. Making sure you show up on smartphone searches is a required piece of your overall marketing strategy. The iPhone has gone from its debut to 100 million sales in just a few years. With Apple and Android fighting over market share and more than half of consumers now using a smart phone, search will never be the same. Today’s web search is faster, more targeted and based on where the customer is located—often using the phone’s GPS capability. Patrick Dichter, Senior Business Development Manager from RevLocal, will explain how businesses can be found and position effectively for mobile search. About The Speaker Patrick Dichter is the Senior Business Development Manager for RevLocal, a Columbus-based local search marketing firm. Originally from Colorado, Patrick holds an MBA from University of Denver. Since joining RevLocal just over a year ago, the company has grown from small-town startup to a national leader with offices in 7 cities and more than 50 employees. Patrick attributes his team’s early success to a culture focused on taking ownership and helping businesses clearly understand how their customers are searching for them. His previous experience includes working with the summer sales program for Southwestern Advantage for years as a top producer in sales, recruiting and team building. Patrick’s interests include skiing, traveling and entrepreneurship.
